To Whom It May Concern

My dog was trained by Michael Kitchen in obedience and in assisting disabled, which I am.  The dog was enrolled in a two week, on site training
course, with intensive practice sessions in public, everywhere.  Michael was wonderful with the dog, and the dog was very comfortable obeying him
and staying with the trainer.  When Michael brought my dog back home from the kennel stay, the improvement in behavior was much greater
then I had expected.  My dogs' behavior had improved even in areas that Michael had not addressed.
Mr. Kitchen's work with my dog has been very successful, the dog is much easier to control, people like to be around him more, and it makes me
more welcome wherever I bring him.  In addition to training, Michael designs and creates leather harnesses and tack for the dogs he trains.  He
made a leather service harness for my dog, custom-fitted, lined with sheep wool, for a very reasonable price.  I am very pleased with the harness I
am using, it fits the dog well and comfortably, and its easy to put on and remove-one fastener!
I know if I have any additional problems with the training or with my dogs behavior, I need only call Michael Kitchen, and help will be on the way.
In fact, I wouldn't call anyone else.  I'm recommending Mr. Kitchen to everyone I know, since he worked with my dog so well, and went way above
and beyond when it came to service.

Sincerely,

Mike,

Thank you so much for laying the framework for us to train Louie.  I can't believe in such a short period of time the difference you have made.  We
are now not afraid to have company over with the fear that Louie is going to jump all over them.  He is still the same energetic and excitable dog
but now he can compose himself.  Thanks again for making a difference when no other trainer seemed to help.

Letter of recommendation for Mike Kitchen,

I would like to take this opportunity to describe a very positive experience that I have recently had.  I have two dogs, a six month old
Beagle/basset mix and a one year old pug.  Both dogs were both literally running the house and were fast becoming a two dog wrecking crew.  I
knew that something had to be done and quickly, I was even thinking that dog ownership was not for me. However, I wanted to exhaust all of my
possibilities as I truly love the dogs.
I interviewed a few people to help me undertake what I thought would be a monumental task of not only house training these dogs but to make
them the enjoyable companions  which I anticipated they would be.
I chose Mike to help me with this.  Mike is very intelligent, well spoken, and very well versed with all breeds of dogs.  Mike is very passionate about
his work as was evidenced by his knowledge and handling of the dogs.  He really loves his work and is just wonderful with the dogs.  He uses a very
kind, gentle approach, never raising his voice or using anything hurtful to the dogs.  He praises them, hugs them, and showers them with affection
during the training sessions.  In fact, a few times, He even had to tell me to be more gentle with them.
When Mike first starting helping me, My dogs were having 10-12 accidents per day in the house.  They have not had an accident in the house in
over two weeks.  They now go into their crates voluntarily when they hear the words, "time to go in".  They also have learned to sit and are very
well behaved.
Mike also had to rehabilitate me in this process as I had taught the dogs some less then positive habits.  Mike was as patient with me as with the
dogs.  Mike is able to sense when the dogs or I were getting frustrated and he would instinctively know when we all needed a break.  He would
usually take over for a few minutes and I can not tell you how easily beautifully he handles the dogs.
Mike has given me a wonderful gift of enjoying  my dogs.  I would highly recommend Mike to work with any breed of dog to help resolve any type
of issues which are problematic for you as a dog owner.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask Mike for my number and I will be more than happy to speak with you.

Sincerely,

Maryann M.

To Whom It May Concern:

Its always hard to know exactly how much detail  to put into one of these things after all I do want to tell you how grateful we are to Mike
Kitchen for his work with our dog but its hard to truly express.   I can say this, Mike was one of the few trainers I spoke to who would even
consider dealing with our dog and I spoke to a lot of trainers in Connecticut, I think probably most of the trainers who were in business at the
time which is earlier this year.
We had previously employed another trainer; some one who was just starting their own business and would come to our house and work with us.
It was clear early on that the trainer was very impressed with her own credentials and less impressed with our dog who clearly intimated her.  I
am sure at this point you are thinking we must own a monster but we really don't.  We own a mix breed, some say boxer mix, some say pit mix,
some say she is just a good old fashioned mutt.  She is a rescue with a checkered past who can be the sweetest dog you could ever hope to meet
but who is also very scared of just about everything, and just to mess up the mix she can also display real dominance behavior which is perhaps a
coping mechanism or it just might be dominance behavior.
We had as I mentioned had another trainer see her, we had medicated her for anxiety, I had even taken her off commercial dog food in case it was
allergies and 99% of the time she was a sweetie.  The down side was she bit, not to try and make excuses but they were not serious bites given her
size and strength but she bit.  When she bit our dog walker who knew Molly was a handful when we hired her (and worked for us anyway!), I
knew something had to be done.
This was when I began to call every dog trainer in Connecticut.  I spoke to so many, I can hardly express the frustration when on after another
told us to destroy her, easier said then done  when it is your beloved pet.  There were a few who would consider her , one woman wanted us to fill
out pages and pages of a questionnaire before meeting me or my dog.  Then there were  trainers who told us they would consider her but it would
take a very long time  and at this hourly rate, etc.  I was at this point as sure as I have ever been that I would a healthy dog.  I went as far as to
make the call to my vet to see if he would destroy Molly for us if that was the final decision.  He said he would help us and as Molly's vet he
understood the situation we were in and he knew the lengths we had already gone for our sweet Molly.
Then I made one more call, I found Mike.  He agreed to meet Molly and I.  A week later I left Molly with Mike for two weeks.  I had reservations, I
wasn't sure I liked being told my dog had no respect for me...  I was also not sure you could train a dog in two weeks.  I called most days to see
how she was doing, and Mike would give me these glowing reports and every time I would cringe and wonder if he wasn't just trying to placate
me.  When after a week he told me she was ready  but that he wanted to refine some of the work with her I was convinced I had just wasted my
money!
I ate my words I was amazed and frankly happy enough to cry!  There was my dog trained, happy and confident.  Not only was she trained , but
it was clear to me that she adored Mike and when I tried it she did it for me too.  It worked for my husband too.  She greeted a stranger without
any of her usual fearfulness.  I hope you know how grateful we are to him.  She continues to be a well trained and well behaved dog.
I have recommended Mike's services to friends and I recommend them to you.  I know a friend used Mike for a young dog with no manners but no
aggression and they are equally as happy as we are.  In our house we half jokingly call Mike the "dog whisperer".  I would entrust any dog of mine
to him.

Yours Sincerely,
Andrea C.

I have worked with Mike Kitchen who is with Executive K9. I have always been able to train my previous German Shepherds to do basic commands.
I was unable to do so with my newest 10 month old German Shepherd. I was unable to walk him without him pulling on the leash no matter
what I did. He was aggressive towards other dogs and had a number of other bad habits I couldn't break him of. With the help of Mike who has a
thorough understanding of dogs and their behavior and how they think, my dog is starting to come around. I would never have been able to break
him of these habits had it not been for the help of Executive K9. Mike always did what he said he would do and taught me alot about my own
dog. I have complete trust and confidence in this company and in Mike.

Sincerely,

Mike,
Sarah and I have been focusing on the dog tension/aggression with Jax since your last time here. We have taken him several places at various times
throughout the day in order to expose him to as many scenarios as possible. He has improved and mostly will ignore other dogs unless they are
within a few feet which we will continue to address, and he shows great promise. We have also focused on his heeling, as well as the left turns and
he is doing great. In addition, I do the up-up sessions as I call them with him jumping in and out of the truck on an every other day basis to
enforce the training (I usually backup the truck towards the grass for softer landings when he jumps out). He seems to enjoy jumping in and out
quite a bit. Our next step is to add in the long line training that we will begin tonight. I would like a week or so to work on that before moving
onto our final session with the E-Collar. So I assume 2 weeks would be around the time I would like that class to take place. From there I would
like you to perform an honest assessment of Jax to see if we are ready to move onto the next step as I do want him Protection Trained. I must
say that your method of training is impressive, and even though it may seem very basic when you explain the methodology behind how to
effectively train a spirited dog like Jax, it makes a lot of sense looking at training through his eyes. We had a major concern that the kind of
training we wanted ran the chance of changing his personality (as you know he can be a goof ball lol), and what you assured us has proven true.
He does become excited to work, and sees his training collar as a time to get down to business and work, but I think he is even a bigger goof ball
now then when we begun his training. After our sessions with Jax are done for the day, he is nice and tired, which is nice considering Boxers have
unending energy. I have attached an updated picture of Jax if you would like to post it on your site as another reference of a satisfied customer. I
look forward to continuing to work with you on further trainings with Jax. Thanks.

Thanks,
Adrian S.
